Police are still looking for Jashiah Rabu, the headmistress of Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Keramat Satu, who has been missing for 56 days, according to Kuala Kubu Baharu Police Station chief ASP Mohd Razip Md Tahir.

He said today the police had taken various measures but all efforts to find Jashiah, 53, had been in vain thus far.

"We are still on the case to trace the victim though the search-and-rescue operation ceased on Nov 10," he told Bernama.

Mohd Razip urged people who had information on Jashiah to contact any police station.

The mother-of-four was last seen by neighbours leaving her home in Taman Seri Seruling on Oct 23 and is believed to have walked to the Bukit Kutu Forest Reserve area and taken a ride in someone's car for about 10 kilometres.
