It should be made clear to all quarters that the ongoing investigation on the police report lodged against former prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad does not mean an arrest would be made against Dr Mahathir.

Deputy Home Minister Datuk Seri Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar said that it will however determine if Dr Mahathir was guilty or not.

“Not all investigation would result in an arrest. Investigations determine if the individual in the report is guilty or not,” said Wan Junaidi to Astro AWANI today.

He was asked to comment on a statement he made on the investigations that would be carried out towards the police reports lodged against Dr Mahathir.

Wan Junaidi explained that no individuals were exempted from the law.

Earlier, Solidariti Anak Muda Malaysia (SAMM) had lodged a series of police reports against Dr Mahathir for allegedly making seditious statements against Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
