Police are looking for a social media user following an alleged threat made against Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

News portal Harian Metro Friday reported that police viewed the threat as serious and are in the midst of verifying the authenticity of the Facebook account used by the netizen.

In the Facebook status posted Thursday, the individual had threatened to bomb Najib’s residence on Saturday.

MStar Online reported that political activist, Mohd Ali Baharom also known as Ali Tinju had lodged a police report on the threat.

Preliminary investigation on the Facebook account revealed that the individual is an engineer who is married and resides in Shah Alam, Selangor.
