The police have detained a woman and two foreign men in connection with the attempted murder of her lorry driver husband in Taman Puchong Permai on April 24.

Subang Jaya police chief, ACP Mohammad Azlin Sadari said the 40-year-old woman was nabbed at her house, two days after the murder attempt.

A day later, the Indian and Sri Lankan nationals in their 20s, were picked up at a hotel in Puchong, he told a media conference at the Subang Jaya police headquarters Tuesday.

In the incident on April 24, the suspect's 37-year-old husband sustained serious head injuries after he was hacked with a parang and an axe by two men in front of a lift at the Permai Court in Taman Puchong Permai.

The victim was warded at the Serdang Hospital where he recovered.
