Police busted a drug trafficking syndicate with the arrest of three foreigners and a local man in Puchong, on Wednesday.

In the 3.30am raid, the Special Tactical Intelligence Narcotics Group (Sting) from Bukit Aman seized drugs believed to be 'syabu' weighing 47 kilogrammes and worth RM6 million, hidden in 159 women handbags.

Bukit Aman Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department director Datuk Seri Mohd Mokhtar Mohd Shariff said two foreigners were arrested at a parking lot in a supermarket in Bukit Puchong.

Two other men were detained in a house in Taman Puchong Prima, Puchong.

"The suspects, aged between 30 and 36, are believed to be actively involved in the syndicate since early October," he told a press conference here on Wednesday.
