Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak expressed his happiness and pride at the results of cooperation between the federal government and Johor state government, after spending two days on a working visit to the state.

He said the continuous support from numerous quarters including from the Johor royal family saw Johor currently expanding as a new major economic power in Malaysia.

"God willing, we will see more development in Johor the results of which will be enjoyed not only by the people of Johor but all Malaysians," Najib said in his latest post on his official blog najibrazak.com today.

Najib also gave his assurance that he would visit from time to time all the mega projects implemented in Johor to ensure the stipulated targets were met.

Among the projects he visited and launched during his working visit were the the Pengerang Integrated Petroleum Complex (PIPC), Phoenix Hotel in Forest City, Gelang Patah, the Fast Track City Development design at Pinewood Studios and the 10th Anniversary of Iskandar Malaysia (IM10) at Iskandar Puteri. - BERNAMA
