Public Accounts Committee (PAC) member Tony Pua today admitted that he is only 80 per cent satisfied with the committee’s report on 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) which was tabled at the Parliament yesterday.

This is because, there are still many unresolved matters with the company as the 1MDB still has not submitted all the documents requested throughout the proceedings.

“There are still matters that I am not satisfied. But because we wanted to table the report on the last day of the Parliament session, we had to be balanced,” he said at a press conference held at DAP’s headquarters today.

Pua said the tabling of the report yesterday had enlighten many people on 1MDB and the issues surrounding it.

“Many findings were mentioned in the report. We accept that some things cannot be mentioned in the report now but we will do it later,” he explained.

Among others, the PAC in its 106-page report yesterday said 1MDB former chief executive officer Datuk Shahrol Azral Ibrahim Halmi should be probed by the authorities for the company's weakness and constraints.

The report also stated that 1MDB's capital financing structure and financial performance are "not satisfactory", leading to weak corporate governance.
