MAS ERMIEYATI: I hope that they will make a smart observation and consideration so as not to be fooled by incorrect sources and they should always counter check all the information received.
The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) will hold a meeting today to discuss the latest developments on the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) issue, said Puteri UMNO chief Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin.
Mas Ermieyati, who is also a PAC member, urged the people not to rush into believing unverified news spread by irresponsible quarters.
She said the people should remain calm and not be swayed byspeculationon the country's current circumstances.
"I hope that they will make a smart observation and consideration so as not to be fooled by incorrect sources and they should alwayscounter checkall the information received," she told reporters after attending a breaking-of-fast event held by the National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN), here Wednesday.
She also advised all quarters to give the authorities a chance to carry out investigations with full integrity without disruption from outsiders.
