The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has called up two ministries and two departments to clarify issues raised in the third series of the Auditor-General's Report 2014.

PAC chairman Datuk Hasan Arifin said the Rural and Regional Development Ministry and the Department of Orang Asli Development on Monday gave statements on the Orang Asli Socio-Economic Development Programme involving the supply of treated water to the Orang Asli community.

"The PAC heard clarifications from Rural and Regional Development Ministry secretary-general Datuk Mohd Arif Ab Rahman and Department of Orang Asli Development director-general Mohd Jamaluddin Kasbi on the matter," he said in a media statement.

The PAC has scheduled proceedings for three days beginning Monday.

Hasan said the PAC would call up the Home Ministry and the Immigration Department on Tuesday on the implementation of the Malaysian Immigration System, myIMMs.

On Wednesday, the PAC will seek clarification on the Rural Water Supply Programme in Sabah, also involving the Rural and Regional Development Ministry, he added.
