PAS deputy president, Datuk Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man has confirmed that none of the party’s 18 elected representatives have thrown their support to be with Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

According to him, an official statement will be issued by PAS in the near future.

This statement follows the announcement of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) president, Anwar, who claimed that he got the support of the majority of Members of Parliament to form the government.

Anwar at a press conference in Kuala Lumpur today stressed that the government led by prime minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has now "fallen."

"With the support and a strong and convincing majority, it means that at this time the government led by Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has fallen," he said to applause, cheers and shouts of “Reformasi” from his supporters.

He added that further information and steps will be informed after he meets the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah in the near future.
