A group of non-governmental organisations (NGO) on Thursday handed a joint memorandum regarding 1MDB to Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Paul Low Seng Kuan.

Low in a statement today said he had met representatives from the National Human Rights Society (HAKAM), Coalition for Free and Fair Elections (BERSIH) and Suara Rakyat Malaysia (SUARAM) at his office here, where they presented the joint memorandum - endorsed by another 31 NGOs.

Present at the meeting were HAKAM president Ambiga Sreenevasan, BERSIH 2.0 steering chairperson Maria Chin Abdullah and SUARAM executive director Sevan Doraisamy.

"I duly took note of their views and assured them that I will bring their concerns to the attention of the Cabinet," Low said.
