Tourism and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Aziz and a Malaysian tourism delegation who are in Paris to attend the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) meeting are safe.

"Syukur alhamdulilah, I understand the delegation headed by the minister is safe and we pray they will return home safely soon," Tourism and Culture deputy minister Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin told reporters.

She was met after attending the 'Noble Values and Heritage Pride Carnival 2015' here, today.

"My sympathies to families and victims of the incident which took more than 100 lives; I pray for the safety of Malaysians in Paris," she said.

Mas Ermieyati also advised Malaysians intending to holiday in Paris, to first obtain updates on the security situation from the Foreign Ministry.
