In conjunction with Father's day today, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak shared photos of his late father Tun Abdul Razak together with the fifth Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah taken in the 1970s in his twitter and Facebook accounts.

He also shared his photo with Tuanku Abdul Halim after the latter was appointed as the 14th Yang di-Pertuan Agong since Dec 13, 2011.

"I was going through some old photos and found these. He was a father I shared with Malaysia. #HappyFathersDay to all fathers!," wrote the prime minister.

Both photos were posted by Najib showing the same pose of him and his father holding both hands with Tuanku Abdul Halim seated on the right side on an almost similar type of sofa.

Tuanku Abdul Halim, was the Yang di-Pertuan Agong during Tun Abdul Razak's administration as the second prime minister from Sept 22, 1970 until Jan 14, 1976.

He was again appointed as the Yang di-Pertuan Agong on Dec 13, 2011 during the administration of Najib as the sixth prime minister.
