“This is part of life,” said a father.

Standing in front of the gate of now fully burnt Tahfiz Darul Quran Ittifaqiyah Centre, the father was seen consoling a lady, believed to be his wife.

“I only know it thru my friends,” he said to the reporters when approached.

He said, his son was so excited to meet the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and he requested him to buy him new pairs of jubah.

“So I bought him two pairs of jubah and that was the last time I met him,” he said calmly.

The boy alongside with his schoolmates were scheduled to attend an event with the Prime Minister tonight.

He said, his son seems very jovial when he sent him off last night.

"In fact, he brought a lot of food for his friends."

“Unfortunately, this morning I heard this news. Even the warden, Ustaz Yusof which I met last night, has also gone.”

The boy, Nik Mohamad Ridzuan is expected to be laid to rest in Ampang, alongside with his sister who died two years ago.

“I’m now lost, one daughter and one son. This is part of life,” said Nik Azlan Nik Abdul Kadir.
