The Ministry of Health (MOH) is looking into close contacts with the 110th COVID-19 death involving a 30-year-old man found dead at a roadside in Rompin, Pahang yesterday.

Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the man was believed to be walking from Segamat to Terengganu.

The case, however, was still under investigation.

"Yesterday's death was still under investigation but it was reported that the patient had travelled from Segamat and returned to Terengganu but died in Rompin.

"For contact tracking, we will do in Segamat, Johor. His friends will be investigated as we did in other cases," he said at a press conference here on Thursday.

In a press conference on Wednesday, Dr Noor Hisham revealed that the 110th death (Case 6743) was a 30-year-old Malaysian citizen who was found dead in Rompin, Pahang.

The result of the COVID-19 sample test taken during the autopsy was positive on May 12, 2020 and the cause of the infection has not been identified and it was still under investigation.
