The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment will provide full cooperation to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) in the investigation of its officers arrested for alleged involvement in corruption and misconduct.

Its Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar made the pledge in a statement here today.

"I assure you that the ministry and all its departments will continue to support MACC's efforts to fight corruption and misconduct," he said.

The statement was issued following reports on the arrest of officers from the Peninsular Malaysia Forestry Department, Department of Wildlife and National Parks (Perhilitan) and the Department of Irrigation and Drainage recently.
