KUALA LUMPUR: A brazen shooting incident at a commercial area near Jalan Genting Kelang here this afternoon shocked unsuspecting members of the public who witnessed the crime.

Several photos and videos obtained by Astro AWANI showed a large crowd surrounding a car at a traffic junction near Setapak Central.

The images show a dark grey Honda Accord car riddled with bullet holes in the left side windows – seven in the front window and five holes in the back window.

A CCTV recording showed the vehicle stopping at the traffic light. Shortly after, two motorcycles came up behind the car, with two riders on each motorbike. The pillion riders then got off and began firing at both sides of the vehicle. It is believed that more than 10 shots were fired.
The perpetrators then fled with their accomplices.
