Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) is committed in ensuring the safety of its airports is in top condition, says chairman Tan Sri Dr Wan Abdul Aziz Wan Abdullah.

He said currently, MAHB had in its employ, 4,000 aviation security personnel to ensure the safety of its airports nationwide.

"MAHB will always cooperate with the country's security forces to ensure the safety level at all airports is satisfactory," Wan Abdul Aziz said in his speech during the passing-out parade of 143 aviation personnel at the KL International Airport Bunga Raya Complex here on Thursday.

Also present were Transport Ministry Secretary-General Datuk Seri Saripuddin Kasim, MAHB managing director Datuk Mohd Badlisham Ghazali and Selangor police chief Datuk Seri Abdul Samah Mat.

Wan Abdul Aziz said MAHB had provided an allocation for training and the purchase of new high technology equipment in ensuring tighter security at its airports.
