The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) today raided Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng’s residence in Jalan Pinhorn, Georgetown around 3.10pm.

Lim and his wife, Betty Chew was earlier seen at the MACC office in Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah and left the building at around 2.55pm.

Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) today raided Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng’s residence in Jalan Pinhorn, Georgetown around 3.10pm.

He was accompanied by his lawyer RSN Rayer and Ramkarpal Singh Deo, who arrived at his house 15 minutes later with a group of MACC officers.

It was understood that the DAP secretary-general has cancelled all his programmes today to assist with MACC’s investigation.

Two weeks ago, the MACC had recorded both Lim’s and Chew’s statements regarding the puchase of the bungalow worth RM2.8 million.
