Sultan Ibrahim Ismail Sultan Iskandar has reportedly won the bidding for the ‘F1’ vehicle registration number.

According to BH Online, the Johor Sultan successfully obtained the new Putrajaya registration number at bidding price of RM836,660.

Sultan Ibrahim still holds the title for the highest bidder of a Malaysian number plate when he paid RM748,000 for ‘W1N’ in January 2014. Before that, he paid RM520,000 for ‘WWW 1’ in May 2012.

Meanwhile, the report also said the ‘F2’ number plate was won by Goh Fong Yee at a bidding price of RM514,800.

As for the ‘F7’ and ‘F9’ registration numbers, they were won by Pli Trading Sdn Bhd at RM396,000 and Trans Penang Inn Sdn Bhd at RM404,800, respectively, the report added.

The bidding for the ‘F1’ number plate had garnered a lot of attention, including beauty products entrepreneur Datuk Seri Hasmiza Othman or ‘Datuk Vida’, who had previously expressed her intention to place the number plate on a Ferrari she planned to buy.
