A privately-owned Piper 32-type light aircraft plunged into the sea while trying to make an emergency landing about 100 metres from Teluk Dalam beach in Kampung Tersusun, Pulau Pangkor.

Pertubuhan Pelindung Khazanah Alam Malaysia (Peka) is among those which believes the landslip at KM52.4 of Kuala Lumpur-Karak Highway near Lentang-Bukit Tinggi area was due to uncontrolled logging activities in the Lentang Forest Reserve area.

Mudslide: Cleanup in motion, highway remains closed
The Kuala Lumpur Karak (KLK) Highway remained closed to traffic for cleaning work, following the mudslide on Wednesday evening. Several bulldozers of expressway concessionaire, Anih Berhad began cleaning since 9.30am Thursday. Vehicles which are currently on the East-Coast Highway can make a U-turn to return to their original location.
Baby with two heads born in Bangladesh
Doctors at a Bangladesh hospital were treating a baby girl born with two heads on Thursday, medical officials and the newborn's father said. The baby is now being treated for breathing difficulties after being shifted to the intensive care unit of the country's largest hospital in Dhaka.

Landslide at KL-Karak highway causes traffic standstill
A landslide occurred at KM52.4 of the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Highway (KLK) near Bukit Tinggi on Wednesday evening. According to the Malaysian Highway Authority's official Twitter (@LLMinfotrafik), both north- and south-bound roads have been closed and traffic was at a standstill.
