Parti Warisan Sabah is Shafie Apdal's new party

Former UMNO vice-president Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal on Monday announced Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan) as the name of the new party helmed by him, replacing Parti Pembangunan Warisan Sabah, established in 2013.

Mohd Shafie will be helming Parti Warisan Sabah as president.

Murdered: RTD officer who rebuked married man keen on sister

A Kelantan Road Transport Department (RTD) officer was found stabbed to death at a parking lot of the Terengganu Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (Maidam) Monday morning.

Education Ministry probing school's 'snake training' boot camp

The Education Ministry expressed its disappointment with a public school’s boot camp which required pupils to wade through a pool that had snakes in it.

Deputy Education Minister, Datuk P. Kamalanathan said the ministry is currently investigating the incident at the school in Kuala Kangsar, Perak, after the school management lodged a complaint with the district education department.

Jamal Yunos arrested at KLIA

Sungai Besar UMNO division chief Datuk Jamal Yunos was arrested at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Sepang at around 8.30am Wednesday.

The Himpunan Baju Merah red shirt movement leader was held by the police upon arrival from Dubai, United Arab Emirates and taken to the Dang Wangi district police headquarters (IPD).
