‘Himpunan Rakyat Bersatu’ organisers laid out a 14-point resolution which among others, called on the public to uphold the Rukun Negara and reject political lies levied at the government.

Kelantan Poverty Foundation founder, Tan Sri Annuar Musa read out the resolution at Padang Merbok in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday.

Below are the 14 points:

1. Defending parliamentary democracy
2. Instilling respect, love and unity among Malaysians
3. Uniting the people to defend religious stability
4. Rejecting DAP’s alleged chauvinist racism
5. Rejecting foreign interference in the country’s affairs
6. Rejecting Bersih 1 to Bersih 4
7. Uniting the people to reject any speech that insults Islam, the official religion of the Federal Government
8. Supporting the government in facing the economic crisis
9. Upholding the position of the Malays, Bumiputeras and other races in Malaysia
10. Defending the duly elected government
11. Upholding the Rukun Negara
12. Rejecting political lies levied at the government
13. Rejecting attempts to topple the government
14. Call for the return of the Internal Security Act (ISA)
