Welcome back haze!

With the air quality in Malaysia reaching its 'unhealthy and ‘very unhealthy’ range today, Malaysians seem to be anxious once again.

Netizens took to social media their disgruntlement and even shared photos of the current situation of haze in their respective areas.

According to them, the haze is somewhat worse than the previous days.














Moreover, many also claimed that their health has been affected.






Some even expressed disappoinments as their outdoor plans had to be cancelled amid the worsening haze.




13 areas recorded unhealthy air pollutant index (API) readings as at 11am today.

Nilai in Negeri Sembilan recorded the highest API reading with 142, while other areas in the state - Seremban and Port Dickson recorded reading of 137 and 112 respectively.

According to Department of Environment's (DOE) website, Bukit dan Bandaraya Melaka in Melaka recorded API readings of 124 and 127.

In Selangor, the most affected area is Port Klang (133), while Banting, Petaling Jaya and Shah Alam recorded API readings between 114 and 128.

In the Federal Territories, the API in Cheras is 102 and Batu Muda, 121, while Putrajaya recorded a reading of 119.
