Fourteen areas recorded unhealthy air pollutant index (API) readings as at 1pm today.

Nilai in Negeri Sembilan recorded the highest API reading with 152, while other areas in the state - Seremban and Port Dickson recorded reading of 150 and 121 respectively.

According to Department of Environment's (DOE) website, Bukit Rambai and Bandaraya Melaka in Melaka recorded API readings of 124 and 140.

In Selangor, the most affected area is Port Klang (141), while Banting, Petaling Jaya and Shah Alam recorded API readings between 114 and 128.

Larkin, Johor recorded API reading of 102, while Pasir Gudang recorded 110.

In the Federal Territories, the API in Cheras is 112 and Batu Muda, 131, while Putrajaya recorded a reading of 129.

Meanwhile, 27 ares recorded moderate air qualities and other areas recorded good air quality.
