The government said it will address all queries concerning the RM2.6 billion donation deposited into Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak's personal account in Parliament soon, The New Straits Times (NST) reported yesterday.

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said informed Tuesday that it will be answered on a fixed date in the current Parliamentary session.

“This question will be answered simultaneously with all other questions on the same issue at a date to be fixed in the current parliamentary meeting,” said Azalina in her written reply to Lim Guan Eng (DAP-Bagan) and Segambut MP Lim Lip Eng (DAP-Segambut), as quoted in NST.

Guan Eng in his question had asked Najib to reveal the source of the RM2.6 billion in his personal bank accounts, and how the money was used and who were the recipients.

Both MPs also asked if Najib had paid any taxes for the sum or made any form of official declaration, how much of the funds that are left, including details of the accounts where the money was channeled.
