The decision on whether or not wedding receptions are allowed during the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) will be announced on Wednesday.

Senior Minister (Security Cluster), Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said, the matter was being discussed with all parties including the National Security Council (MKN) on all aspects especially regarding standard operating procedures (SOP).

"I received a lot of complaints from marriage consulting services companies because they were also affected by the government's Movement Control Order.

"However, the matter has been tabled today and will be discussed in more detail at a special meeting with MKN and related parties tomorrow (Tuesday)," he said at a press conference here on Monday.

Elaborating, Ismail Sabri said, among the things to be discussed was the number of guests attending a wedding receeption, whether or not it could exceed 250 people.
