Former Dungun MP, Datuk Matulidi Jusoh, 57, passed away early today morning due to diabetes at his residence.

Allahyarham who represented UMNO and Barisan Nasional (BN) was an MP for one term between 2008-2013 when he won the seat with a majority of 4,994 votes beating PKR candidate, Shamsul Iskandar Md Akin during the 12th General Election (GE).

He, however failed to defend his seat when he was beaten by PAS candidate, Saiful Bahari Mamat with a majority of 1, 287 votes in the 13th GE.

Allahyarham leaves behind a wife and three children.
