Fire breaks out at Sultanah Aminah hospital

A fire has broken out at the emergency ward at the Sultanah Aminah Hospital (HSA), here, this morning.

The incident is believed to have occurred at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on the second floor.

There was no report of casualties as affected patients were evacuated to other wards.

Fire and Rescue Department personnel are currently attempting to put out the blaze.


Meanwhile, the Fire and Rescue Department has tweeted that at least two victims may be trapped within the premises.
