The three-phase assessment, initiated by the International Atomic Energy Agency, concluded that Malaysia is thoroughly prepared and has developed a considerable base of knowledge to make an informed decision about introducing nuclear power.
On March 7, the minister said Malaysia has 30 days to respond to the recommendation made by the report that evaluates interested newcomer countries' status and state-of-readiness in developing nuclear power

Thirty-two participants competed in the Kuala Lumpur heat and presented various topics such as biotechnology, electricity and data technology.
They were judged based on three main criteria, content, clarity and charisma.
Previously, two heats were held in Johor Bahru and Kuching, Sarawak on March 11 and March 18, respectively.
Winners of the three heats and seven other FameLab finalists will attend a weekend Communication Masterclass before competing in the FameLab National Final on May 6.
The national winner would receive RM3
