Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak offers condolences to the families of victims killed in a boat capsize in Sabak Bernam yesterday.

"The boat capsize in Sabak Bernam is a sad incident. The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) will continue with the search and rescue operation. Al -Fatihah and my condolences to the families of passengers who were killed," he said in his Twitter posting today.



As of last night, the bodies of 13 women and two men were found, while 19 others, including a woman, were safe after the boat, which was carrying about `70 passengers, capsized in waters off Selangor last Thursday.

The boat, measuring about 12 metres long, was on its way from Kuala Sungai Bernam to Tanjong Balai, Indonesia.
