Foreign Affairs Minister, Datuk Seri Anifah Aman denies allegations stating that he received part of the political donation worth RM2.6 billion from Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s personal account.

“I did not receive any funds from YAB Prime Minister’s personal account,” said Anifah in a statement on Wednesday.

He also urged DAP Parliamentary leader, Lim Kit Siang to stop making baseless accusations against him and that he would not hesitate to take action if Lim continues to do so.

“I urge YB Lim Kit Siang to stop insinuating any wrongdoings on my part without evidence. I would not hesitate to take appropriate action if Lim continues in the same vein,” said Anifah.

The media had earlier reported Lim as saying that Anifah was among the eight ministers and two deputy ministers who had received part of the political donation

Media previously reported Kit Siang was quoted as saying that Foreign Affairs has named as one of eight ministers and two deputy ministers who receive a share of political donations amounting to RM2.6 billion.

The Gelang Patah MP urged all the ministers and deputy ministers to inform if they had received part of the donation.
