The Prime Minister's Department will reply on Dec 3, on the last day of this Dewan Rakyat session, to all questions on allegations that RM2.6 billion of 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) funds had been deposited into Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak's personal bank accounts.

This was stated today by Minister in the Prime Minister's Department, Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said who said it was better to accumulate all the questions on the matter and give the reply on the final day of the meeting.

She said that if the Prime Minister was to reply today, for example, another question might come up the next day and then yet another and it would not end.

"Don't you think it is fairer to accumulate the questions and answer them, " she told a press conference at her office at Parliament House.

Asked whether Najib will personally give the reply on Dec 3, she said: "Whether the Prime Minister or anyone (else) from JPM (the Prime Minister's Department) answers, it is still the prerogative of the Prime Minister," she
said.

Azalina said it was not stated anywhere in the Standing Orders of the Dewan Rakyat that questions raised in the house must be answered immediately.
