The Attorney-General's Chambers (AGC) today returned all investigation papers on SRC International Sdn Bhd and the RM2.6 billion political fund to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to obtain further explanation.

Attorney-General Tan Sri Mohd Apandi Ali said the MACC had also been instructed to return the investigation papers to the AGC soonest.

"After going through the statements in the investigation papers, today we returned the papers to seek a better explanation from MACC on some of their proposed suggestions and actions," Mohd Apandi said in a statement today.

The MACC had, last Dec 31 submitted two papers relating to SRC International and the RM2.6 billion political fund.
