A total of 70 hostel students of Sekolah Menengah (SM) Poi Lam, Perak were rushed to hospital after complaining of stomach aches, diarrhoea, fever, vomiting and dizzines after eating canteen food on Thursday.

Out of the number, 49 were male students.

All the students were brought to five private clinics while one was admitted to hospital.
