In case you haven't heard, there is a new eligible bachelor in town.

Lawyer Clinton Tan was named CLEO’s Most Eligible Bachelor for 2017.

The 27-year-old Sarawakian said he was shocked when he was picked as the winner as this was his first time entering the contest.

"I was shocked as there were so many amazing people with more experience than me," he said.

CLEO revealed the winner of CLEO Hot 50 Bachelors for 2017 showdown finale at a Quill City Mall, here recently.

The annual event for CLEO is a highly anticipated local contest which showcases 50 most eligible bachelors in Malaysia.

Astro AWANI's journalist/news anchor, Hakim Rahman was among the finalists chosen to be the most sought-after bachelor in KL.

"It isn't about winning or not but using the platform for a good cause," he said when met after the finale show.

Other contestants included actor Fahad Iman, café owner Amin Ghasemzadeh, stock broker Luqman Yahya and music producer/DJ Tristan Smeeton.

CLEO Malaysia editor Lina Esa said among the criteria of the CLEO's Hot 50 Bachelors include age, single, holds a stable profession and good looks!

The winner will be featured on the cover of CLEO magazine.
