AS women, we often purchase our daily goods be it food, clothes, makeup or accessories very carefully.

With so many options to choose from, we always choose something that best suits us, satisfies us and expresses us.

This is especially true with hijabis. When we purchase our headgear, we don’t want to just be beautiful in it but comfortable as well. And it's even more appealing when there is a story behind the creation of a product that is crafted with love and passion.

One such line of products is The Butterfly Duck collection from The dUCk Group, which is inspired by true stories of love and the relationship between mother and child.

The Butterfly dUCk collection is one that is crafted with care, love and passion, inspired by true stories.
The dUCk Group founder, Vivy Yusof, said butterflies were chosen as the core pattern as it symbolises a relationship – a bond that will never be broken no matter how far the journey.

"It is a collection to celebrate the journey of growing up and of independence. Being a mother of two myself, I know what it feels like to see kids grow up.

"One day, they're in a swaddle sleeping soundly and before you know it, you're sending them off on their first day of school and soon, college!" said Vivy.

The collection, released earlier this month, also saw a campaign through #TheButterflyDuck on social media, where followers shared their own growing up experiences with a photo of them wearing a product from the collection.

Instagram user @imanmisha shared about how having to leave home at the tender age of 14 has taught her how to be fiercely independent.

For user @bitsofclassy, she rekindled her memories with her cousins at their grandparents' place.

The Butterfly dUCk collection includes scarves, tote bags and hard cover notebooks priced at RM300, RM400, and RM40 respectively, with each product available in four colours – Blue, Yellow, Green and Nude.
