BUDDY Valastro, the renowned pastry chef and star of the hit reality show Cake Boss plans to expand his business in Asia.

Valastro, who is in Kuala Lumpur to promote the latest season of his reality show said that his goal is to have his Carlo's Bakery in every continent of the world.

“When I did Cake Boss show, I want to make Carlo's Bakery a household name. That is a legacy I promised my dad.

“Now the legacy is to open a Carlo's Bakery in every single continent,” he told members of the media at a press conference.



The celebrity pastry chef also admitted that social media has played a major role in his life.

Apart from engaging with his combined 20 million followers across multiple platforms, he uses social media to browse for ideas and inspiration.

“I go to Pinterest and Facebook. I will go to Google and type a particular design. I then mix and match the things that I like. I get my inspiration from everything,” he said.

Valastro is in Kuala Lumpur to promote the eighth season of 'Cake Boss' which will premiere on November 9 on TLC, Astro channel 707.
