It was the MIMMA3 tryouts at Paradigm Mall and the perfect setting for our #AwaniChat - fighters roaring to go and fans at the side cheering for their favourites.

The fight cage was just right in front and the ideal place for Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) superstar, actor and model Peter Davis to answer your burning questions.

After all, the purpose of #AwaniChat is to get Astro AWANI’s Facebook and Twitter followers to do the asking.

We received a variety of questions for Davis – from MMA to his next acting role, inspiration, fitness regime and even if he likes to eat jack fruit.

Armed with a cake and several slices of pizza next to him (you would think he's on a strict diet!), the Tune Talk Warrior comfortably sat in front of the laptop, going through and answering your questions for two hours.

If you missed the session, below are our top ten favorite Q&A from #AwaniChat:

RAZMAN RAHIM: Hi Pete, taking Muay Thai myself, not on the serious note, just wanted your say, martial arts/defense is a key element in developing one's decision support (discipline for the mind), in proper adaptation would help society combat a lot of major social issues, you agree?
PETER DAVIS: Yes I would agree, but not just defense... attack too! You have to know how to move forward aggressively in a stagnant position, so defense is not always the key to get results. However the training and discipline required to get to a high level of martial art skill would definitely make you a better person and if everyone did learn, for the most part the world would be a better place.

HAZHMIR DEAN: Which martial arts would you prefer? Do you have any specific training to upgrade your skills?
PETER DAVIS:
With MMA you must learn a lot of pure styles and put them together to create you own personal style. Currently I'm focusing on learning BJJ and wrestling in order to increase my grappling ability. However I'm always going to train my base style which is WUJI KungFu!

KIM CHOONG: Who would you really like to fight next if you get to choose?
PETER DAVIS: I'm not really one to choose, however I would like to get on the path to fight for the lightweight belt, so someone with some weight to their name in the lightweight division for sure!

SUERYNNA TAN: Are you ready for your next fight?
PETER DAVIS: It takes 2 month to prepare for a fight so currently..... no way!!!! Once a fight is confirmed I'll be back on the hardcore diet and training. Only then I'll be ready to shine in the ONE Championship cage!

FRANK YEOH: May I know who is your life's inspiration? What is your aim or challenge for 2015?
PETER DAVIS: I draw inspiration from everyone around me, there is not a specific person that I have in mind, well... I follow the Rock's Instagram... he is pretty cool to be honest.. his life story and how far he has come. Reading his anecdotes can be inspiring!

TRACE'S HANDICRAFT: Which do you like best: Acting, modeling or fighting?
PETER DAVIS: I like them all, however as I age gracefully, I will not be able to fight so much and might prefer to go full out into acting, but it's all about having the opportunity to acting in a good film. If that opportunity comes up, then I'd jump at it, until then I love training and fighting and will continue for as long as I can.

IRENE SOPHEA: When is your next movie coming out?
PETER DAVIS: I'm waiting for a good role to come along until that time I will hold out and focus on my MMA career –Peter

SILVIANA LIM: What is your favourite movie of all time? Fast & Furious?
PETER DAVIS: Actually I don’t really have a favorite, it kinda changes as I grow older. I used to really like Fight Club when I started out with martial arts and for comedy - Zoolander as I entered the world of modeling. Recently "Birdman" was a really cool film as It let me see some fantastic acting peformances and reminded me of both life journeys and my previous time on stage for "Caberet" which is having a remake this year... must go and watch that too at KLPAC!

LEE CHIU LING: Can you share your effective way to control weight?
PETER DAVIS: Watch your calorie intake and your calorie burn output - that would help. Or just cut carbs out and drink plenty of water, making sure you stay active and do some exercise.

IZHAM WAIDI: Kau suka makan tarap? (Do you like to eat jack fruit?)
PETER DAVIS:
Do you mean Jack fruit? yes I like it!!! – Peter
