Astro’s International Indian Trade Expo extravaganza returns to Malaysia for the third consecutive year this September.

Held at GM Klang Wholesale City from 21st to 24th September, this year’s expo will play a prominent role in building cultural and commercial relationships between the exhibitors and visitors.

According to Astro’s Senior Vice President Content Management Group, Dr. Rajamani Chellamuthu, visitors can look forward to a colourful array of traditional costumes, jewellery, sweet delicacies and traditional foods, merchandises, travel and leisure commodities, telecommunication deals and many more, through more than 100 booths by local and international vendors.

“Due to the overwhelming response we received from previous years, we decided to extend this year’s duration by making it a four-day expo. We received an audience of 240,000 during last-years expo and this year, we expect an even greater crowd,” he said in a statement.

Rajamani added that the expo offers local and international Indian traders a platform to expand their product offerings.

“We also provide wide above-the-line and interactive online exposure, with airtime on television, radio and more,” he added.

Activities lined up for these four-days include a fashion show, a mimicry competition, a karaoke session as well as a mini concert by local artists and THR Raaga announcers.

The public who take part in Astro Circle’s muruku-making and treasure hunt competitions will stand a chance to win exclusive prizes such as a flight ticket, a 40’ Full HD TV, a Playstation 4 Slim and many more.

Visitors can visit the Astro Circle booth at the expo for meet and greet session with local artists, lucky draw and enquirie about Astro point redemption.
