Apple, Salesforce and Facebook have topped the list of companies that are successful at not only attracting top talents, but also retaining them.

The list is generated by the professional networking site LinkedIn partly based on its 433 million users interactions with companies and its employees.

The study showed that the work culture is different.

This is because employees, especially the millennial, want more flexibility in terms of working hours or the location where they are working.

For example, Suncorp Group allows employees to work from home.

In addition, employees will choose to work in companies that offer good packages and additional benefits such as training and and opportunity to advance their education.

Here is a list of 20 successful companies that manage to attract and retain top talents.

Also included is a brief description of the company and some of their attractive packages.

1. Apple

Apple is the leading electronic product manufacturers in the world. Among their popular product is the iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and MacBook.

It has 100,000 employees, of which 30 per cent of their workforce are in retail.

It offers a wide range of flexibility to workers, including the opportunity to own shares of Apple Inc.

2. Salesforce

Cloud computing company Salesforce was founded in 1999 by Marc Benioff and Parker Harris.

The company offers lucrative packages to 20,000 employees. It also houses a meditation zone at each floor as the well-being of its employees remain a priority.

3. Facebook

Facebook is one of the most popular social media network founded in 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg.

Facebook Inc revenue rose 40 percent in the last 14 consecutive quarters.

In 2015, Facebook announced a policy of paid maternity leave for four months for all workers, regardless of gender.

4. Google

Google is the leading search engine company in the world with 60,000 employees.

It offers a comprehensive office, complete with a cafe and spa. It will also invite influential personalities to give motivational talks.

Salaries paid are based on the job and not based on the salary received from their previous employment.

5. Amazon

Amazon is the largest online store founded by Jeff Bezos in 1994.

It offers a lucrative salary packages and it also provides mentoring to women in the engineering sector.

6. Microsoft

Microsoft was founded in 1975 by Bill Gates and is now a leading software companies, with the Microsoft Office as one of their signature products.

It is also the maker of video game console Xbox 360.

Its headquarters is located in Redmond, Washington and is complete with its own restaurants, cafes, shops and sports fields.

7. Uber

Vehicle sharing service Uber has operations in 444 cities across the globe.

Although often criticized, especially by local taxi drivers, Uber continue to excel and attract engineers, product managers and operations from around the world to work together to realize the vision of Uber.

8. Unilever

Unilver has a wide range of products and from various brands including Wall's, Sunsilk, Dove, and Lady's Choice.

The company has 169,000 employees worldwide.

It has the 'Future Leaders Programme' to provide training and guidance to new employees so that they can rise to the manager level within the next two to three years.

9. Coca-Cola

Coca-Cola is a popular carbonated drink in the world.

It was introduced in 1886 and continues to excel today.

The company also offers a lucrative package to meet the requirements of the new generation.

Among them, it offers paid maternity leave to six weeks for all new parents. It has 123,000 employees worldwide.

10. Johnson & Johnson

Johnson & Johnson is a manufacturer of medical devices, pharmaceuticals and consumer products that was founded in 1886.

Recently, it abolished employee self-rating system for employees because it has cultural implications in other countries.

As for new fathers, it offers an eight-week paid leave.

11. Oracle

Oracle is a database and software company founded in 1977 by Larry Ellison, Bob Miner and Ed Oates.

Almost 38 percent of the workforce in Oracle consists of the millennia and they are trained to handle challenging environment.

Nestle is a food and beverage manufacturer from Switzerland and houses 2,000 brands.

In an effort to tackle unemployment among the youth, it is determined to employ 10,000 youths and 10,000 trainees from Europe by 2016.

13. Deloitte

Deloitte is an international audit company and received 1.9 million job applications per year.

It has 225,00 employees and provides many benefits for its employees, including various training and educational opportunities.

14. PepsiCo

PepsiCo has 22 brands under its main brands include Pepsi, Lay's and Tropicana.

It is a good company to teach about marketing and product development.

It also provides training to young professionals through PepsiCo University.

Diageo company is a leading manufacturer of alcoholic beverages with various brands under its belt.

It has 33,000 employees and provides a number of opportunities for career development.

This is a reputable management consulting company with a list of highly regarded former employees.
