Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak today took time to visit Sekolah Kebangsaan Padang Rumbia, near here to take part in a 'gotong royong' programme to clean the school which was affected by the recent flood.

He was accompanied by his wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor and Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob.

Najib and Rosmah then spent 30 minutes with 250 volunteers from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia; Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry; National Service Training Programme trainees; Sapura and the Najib Razak Club to clean the school hall.

The Prime Minister also handed over contributions of school equipment from a private company and early schooling aid of RM100 each to 75 students who were affected by the floods.
