Actor Will Smith has squashed rumours that he and wife Jada Pinkett Smith are getting a divorce after 17 years of marriage.

On Tuesday, Will wrote on his Facebook, confirming that the duo are still together despite the rumours.

"Jada and I are not getting a divorce. Under normal circumstances, I don't usually respond to foolishness," the 46-year-old actor wrote.

"(Because it's contagious) But, so many people have extended me their 'deepest condolences' that I figured - 'What the hell... I can be foolish, too!

"I promise you all - if I ever decide to divorce my Queen - I swear I'll tell you myself, " he added.
