A young Syrian talent made headlines after a heartwrenching performance of A’Tuna At-Thofulah (Give us back our childhood) during an audition of ‘The Voice Kids Arab’, recently.

Donning a pretty floral gown, Ghana Bo Hamdan started crying as she wholeheartedly sang the second verse of the ballad.

The show’s jury, Nancy Ajram made a dash for the stage to console Ghana and cajoled the teary-eyed girl to continue with her performance.

Lagu ini sebenarnya telah dilaungkan semenjak 32 tahun yang lalu. Ia menceritakan tentang impian kanak-kanak...Kini...

Ghana’s no-frill performance also drew thunderous applause from two other judges and audiences.

The emotional performance tugged at the judges' heartstrings and earned Ghana a spot in the next round.

Originally sung by Remdi Bandali, the 32-year-old tune is about the hopes and aspirations of children who became war victims in Syria.
