Permata Seni will for the first time collaborate with professionals through the 'Permata Seni Concert' which is set to rock the stage at Istana Budaya for two days, beginning this Saturday

National Department For Culture And Arts (JKNN) director-general Tan Sri Norliza Rofli said the Permata Seni Concert would bring Permata Seni children to perform together with professionals from the National Symphony Orchestra (OSK), National Choir of Malaysia and National Arts Culture and Heritage Academy (ASWARA) alumni.

"During the concert we will be able to see the children's incredible performance when working alongside professionals and from there we will discover their hidden natural talents.

"The concert will feature 310 performers including 190 Permata Seni children who will be participating in the dance, music and choir performances," she told Bernama after appearing as guest on Bernama News Channel Nine-11 programme, here, on Friday.

"Permata Seni Muzik will perform alongside OSK and Man Kidal while Sherry Alhadad has been invited to dance with Permata Seni Tarian to the song 'Siapa Dia'", she said.

Norliza added that Permata Seni which comprises children as young as 6 years old, has held performances in 11 countries such as in Dubai, Kazakhstan and China.

"Datuk Syafinaz Selamat and Hael Hussaini will also be guest artistes at the concert," she said adding that admission is free and entry passes had run out.
