The MTV fantasy series, planned for a January 2016 release, is based on the best-selling science-fiction books by Terry Brooks, reports Deadline.
It follows a group of heroes who fight to stop a demon set on destroying the world.
The series stars Ivana Baquero, Austin Butler, John Rhys-Davies, Manu Bennett and Poppy Drayton.
Al Gough and Miles Millar, of "Spider Man 2" and "Smallville" fame, will act as executive producers, along with Jon Favreau, Jonathan Liebesman, Terry Brooks, Dan Farah and Gene Stein.
