The title winner of Best Actor AIFFA 2015, Bront Palarae will be featured in HBO's latest series, "Halfworlds" directed by the famous Indonesian director, Joko Anwar.

According to HBO Asia, the production of the eight episodes series will begin this week in Jakarta.

In an interview with Daily Seni, 37-year-old Bront, whose real name is Nasrul Suhaimin Saifuddin, said he feels lucky to be given the opportunity to work with big names in the Asian region.

“At first, I was surprised to receive this offer but I find this opportunity interesting as this is the time I can work with the talented actors of Asia. However, I am more excited to see the results."

Apart from Bront, the HBO's original drama series will also feature prominent Indonesian actors such as Arifin Putra (The Raid 2, Macabre), Reza Rahadian (Habibie & Ainun, Guru Bangsa), Aimee Saras (Musical Onrop), Adinia Wirasti (Tentang Dia, Laura & Marsha), Hannah Al-Rashid (Ritual, V/H/S/2), Tara Basro (Catatan HarianSi Boy, Pendekar Tongkat Emas), Alex Abbad (The Raid 2), Ario Bayu (Soekarno, Serangoon Road) and Verdi Solaiman (The Raid, Java Heat).

This Asian thriller drama is also joined by Singaporean singer Nathan Hartono and 8-year old Malaysian child actress Puteri Balqis who won the best actress winner of the 2014 Asian Television Awards

Produced by HBO Asia in collaboration with Infinite Studios, this TV drama is written by Collin Chang and Joko himself.

It is set to premiere exclusively on HBO at the end of 2015.
