The $150,000 pearl-encrusted dress worn by Kenyan star, Lupita Nyong’o stolen from her hotel was found Friday.

BBC reported that the Calvin Klein dress embellished with some 6,000 pearls were taken from the London Hotel in West Hollywood after she turned heads on the much sought-after Academy Awards red carpet Sunday.

A statement from the hotel said they were "working with law enforcement" and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department were checking the hotel's CCTV footage.

The dress was reported to be stolen from her hotel room late Wednesday.

Designed by Francisco Costa for Calvin Klein, the strings of Akoya pearls were laboriously hand sewn by a total of 25 people and took 10 weeks to be completed. The bold sartorial tog has been noted as among the best dress at the recently-concluded Oscars.
