"It's twins!," says Beyonce

NEWS on R&B megastar, Beyonce’s pregnancy has created buzz and was met with shock on the social media fraternity.

So it is understandable the topic "BEYONCE IS HAVING TWINS" (in all caps) -- trended on Twitter.

Beyonce, fondly known as Bae, oannounced that she is pregnant with twins in a flower-filled, belly-revealing portrait posted to Instagram Wednesday.

"We have been blessed two times over," the caption reads. "We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes."

Interestingly, the good news came when Americans are preparing to usher in the Black History Month.





On Twitter, her pregnancy recorded a milestone as 17,000 tweets are posted with the hashtag #beytwice.




Funnily, her pregnancy came as the light at the end of the tunnel given the sombre political scenario in the U.S.

Some observers claimed that when the world is furious about U.S.President Donald Trump's administration, Beyonce's pregnancy news had shed some light on their sorrow.





Beyonce and her rapper-husband, Jay-Z are arguably Tinseltown's power couple with fat pay cheques.

They tied the knot on April 4, 2008 and has a daughter Blue Ivy, 5.
