Matt Damon and Ben Affleck may be well known as the stars of the "Bourne" trilogy and upcoming superhero movie "Batman v. Superman," but they've a strong track record as producers working behind the scenes, and futuristic TV thriller "Incorporated" -- for which Syfy has ordered a pilot -- is just the latest project.

They originally teamed up to write and star in 1997's double Oscar winner "Good Will Hunting" and didn't just leave it at that.

Production company LivePlanet was started in the year 2000 and is best associated with "Project Greenlight," a reality TV series for aspiring filmmakers which has been running since 2001 and is about to return to HBO with a fourth season after nearly 10 years off.

The company has also been responsible for 2007's very well recieved "Gone Baby Gone," a directorial debut for Affleck, who directed younger brother, Casey.

In terms of critical acclaim, that's a long way from LivePlanet's first gig, "American Pie 2." It also has credits on the Ridley Scott comedy con movie "Matchstick Men," a number of "Project Greenlight" alumini, as well as less successful comedies "The Third Wheel" and "The Battle of Shaker Heights."

When one of the company co-founders moved on to Disney, Affleck and Damon constructed Pearl Street Films at Warner Bros, and have continued to pursue film and television projects.

Gus van Sant, who directed the pair in "Good Will Hunting" (as well as Damon and Casey Affleck in wildlife park tragicomedy "Gerry)" was at the helm for Pearl Street's first project, "Promised Land," adaptating a Dave Eggers story. John Krasinski and Damon starred.

2014 saw TV series "The Middle Man" accepted by Fox, with Affleck again installed as director, a production role he will repeat for crime novel cinema adaptation "Live By Night." In addition to Syfy now accepting business thriller "Incorporated," Pearl Street Films also has Kenneth Lonergan's "Manchester-by-the-Sea," starring Casey Affleck, currently in production.
